Projects
Viterra Cascadia
Viterra is Canada's largest grain handler. The Cascadia terminal is located in the Port of Vancouver. Driftwood Technology worked on the SCADA modernization project over a 5 year period. The project migrated the SCADA system from DEC OpenVMS to Archestra System Platform on Windows.
Viterra Pacific
Viterra is Canada's largest grain handler. The Pacific terminal is located in the Port of Vancouver. The terminal is over 100 years old. Driftwood Technology worked on implementing a modern SCADA system over a 7 year period. The project converted the plant from manual control to automated PLC control of all equipment.
Gavalon Kalama
Gavilon is a major grain handler in the United States. The Kalama terminal is located in Washington state. Driftwood Technology worked on migrating the Operations database from DB3 to a modern VB.NET WinForm application.
Control Stuff Accudraft
Control Stuff provides Automation and Machine control solutions. One of their products is "AccuDraft" a system that monitors and records the draft of a barge while it is being loaded. Driftwood Technology developed the Windows software component of this system.
United Malt
United Malt is a major malting company with locations in Canada, United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Driftwood Technology worked on migrating the Operations database from Ingres to a modern VB.NET WinForm application.
